L-stair

L-stairs turn once and therefore have the shape of an L. The two parts joined in the turn are called runners and these parts can be of different lengths.

An L-stair can therefore have a long first run and then the turn comes high up the stairs, or a short one and then the turn comes at the bottom of the stairs. Regardless of the length of the run, it is therefore an L-shaped staircase. Can be obtained as both right- and left-handed.

The L-shaped or quarter-turned, as it is also sometimes called, is the most common shape in our Nordic homes.
