U-stair

A U-stair turns twice in the same direction and is therefore shaped like a U.

This stair model often requires a bit more space on the width but can save space (compared to L or straight stairs) on the length. Designed with curved steps in the corners. If the floor height is very high, it is advantageous to make a U-shaped staircase that resting plane stairs instead. Can be obtained as both right- and left-handed.

Please note that U-stairs, or half-turned as they are also sometimes called, with narrow spindles (little space between the run in the middle of the stairs) can be problematic in combination with external railings, e.g. bolted glass.
